The catacombs inspired you once. You collected a heap of sheep skulls and bones at Port Ligar (or somewhere in the Sounds), and the shed was full of them for a morbid while…

Of course the people sitting around the room with shadows cast on them from a single light bulb with a shadow box rotating around only pales into artistic significance in comparison to the enormous speakers placed 2 metres apart that leave your stomach on the floor when you stand between them. (My experience of the Pompidou centre). My favourite – Smoke rings. Imagine staring at a white wall with nothing on it – you get the idea.

Now Musee d’Orsay – my kind of place. Interesting you went to the catacombes for the second time – the last when you were 10.

Time to visit Florence I guess….. a little more than an hour and a half though.
