A few short words…

These following posts on India are going to be pretty eclectic in their content. The time spent there was both exhilarating and traumatic, very hard work but rewarding. They are also going to be long. I have broken up the content as much as I can but as I wrote over ten thousand words there is only so much that I can do without destroying the flow. My apologies in advance for any poor grammar, sentence construction or spelling, there is quite a lot there to edit. Please email me with corrections.

Lastly I want to thank Mudassir and Sean, who in setting up Yeti Bureau Ladakh cycle tours provided such a wonderful opportunity for me. They gave me an experience that has changed me forever.

Some useful information

Rupees converts as following:

  • NZD divide by 10 and times by 3, so R100 is $3.00.
  • GBP divide by 10 (roughly), so R100 is 1 pound.
